This section contains a range of resources designed to support the teaching of Literacy.
All the resources have been created and used in my own classroom.
I have found the target charts to be very effective in raising the standards of the children's reading and writing. They give the children greater ownership of their work by highlighting what they need to do in order to improve their reading and writing.
I am a big fan of the Letters and Sounds document, but found the sheer number of resources needed to teach it quite daunting. As my children have progressed through the phases I have created the resources. More will be added for the remaining phases in the near future.
I am well aware that lots of parents like to support their children at home, but do not have a teachers knowledge of what is needed to help them progress.
